Fire performance: Class A flame spread rating ≤ 25 per ASTM E84 / CAN/ULC-S102, smoke developed ≤ 50 — well below the OBC 9.10 baseline FSR ≤ 150 for general residential. Class A film is required by code for exit corridors and shared common-area ceilings (rare in residential, common in restaurants and commercial fitouts). Cheap grey-market films may not be tested — we specify and document A+ / Class A on every project.
