Challenge

Integrating the new large freestanding tub and expansive glass shower enclosure into the existing plumbing lines required careful planning to maintain proper drainage slopes without significant floor alterations. The tight 3-week timeline also demanded precise scheduling and coordination among all trades to avoid delays.

Solution

We utilized Schluter DITRA-HEAT matting for the in-floor heating system, ensuring uniform heat distribution and uncoupling for tile longevity. Custom glass panels were installed for the walk-in shower, sealed with silicone meeting ASTM C920 standards, alongside a dual-flush Toto toilet for water efficiency. Premium large-format porcelain tiles were laid throughout.

The renovated ensuite significantly enhanced the home's comfort and aesthetic appeal, adding an estimated 5-7% to the property's market value.
