Challenge
The basement had low ceilings (7'2"), moisture issues, and no separate entrance โ all critical requirements for a legal secondary suite in Mississauga.
Solution
Waterproofed the foundation walls, installed weeping tile and sump pump, underpinned footings to gain ceiling height, built full bathroom with shower, kitchenette with dedicated circuits, bedroom with egress window, and separate side entrance. All permits pulled and inspections passed.
Result
