Transformed dated oak kitchen cabinets with professional spray-finish painting, new hardware, and soft-close hinge upgrades — a fraction of the cost of new cabinets.
Challenge
The solid oak cabinets were structurally perfect but the orange-toned finish looked dated. The homeowner wanted a modern white look but could not afford $25,000+ for new custom cabinets.
Solution
Removed all doors and drawers, labelled and transported to our spray booth. Degreased, sanded, applied bonding primer, then two coats of Benjamin Moore Advance in Simply White with a smooth spray finish. Replaced all hinges with soft-close, installed new brushed brass handles, and reinstalled on-site.
Result
The kitchen looks brand new for under $5,000 — an 80% savings over cabinet replacement. The spray finish is as smooth as factory cabinets with a durable, washable surface.
“Everyone thinks we got new cabinets. The spray finish is incredibly smooth and the soft-close hinges are a great touch. Saved us $20,000.”
