Challenge

The home had 20-foot cathedral ceilings in the foyer, a dramatic open staircase, and the previous paint job had multiple DIY touch-up patches that needed correction before repainting.

Solution

Set up scaffolding for the cathedral ceiling and staircase areas. Sanded and primed all patched areas, caulked all trim joints, applied two coats of Benjamin Moore Regal Select on walls, ceiling paint on all ceilings, and semi-gloss on all trim and railings. Protected all floors with rosin paper and plastic.

Result

A flawless finish throughout with consistent colour and sheen. The homeowners were able to move furniture back in within 24 hours of completion thanks to the low-VOC paint.
