Complete exterior painting of a two-storey home including siding, trim, soffits, fascia, and garage door, plus staining of 120 linear feet of cedar fence.
Challenge
The home's previous exterior paint was peeling badly on the south and west-facing walls due to sun exposure, and the cedar fence had turned grey and was starting to check and split.
Solution
Power washed all exterior surfaces, scraped and sanded peeling areas, spot-primed bare wood, applied two coats of Benjamin Moore Aura Exterior in a modern charcoal with white trim. Cleaned the cedar fence with oxalic acid brightener, then applied two coats of semi-transparent oil-based stain in a natural cedar tone.
Result
The home looks brand new from the street. The fresh paint and restored fence boosted the curb appeal dramatically — neighbours commented that it looked like a different house.
