Insulated Garage Door & Opener Installation in Vaughan

Replaced an old single-layer steel garage door with an insulated, modern flush-panel garage door and a new belt-drive smart opener with Wi-Fi connectivity.

Challenge

The 20-year-old garage door had a broken torsion spring, dented panels, and zero insulation — making the attached garage freezing in winter and causing the adjacent mudroom to be uncomfortably cold.

Solution

Removed the old door and track system, installed a new R-16 insulated steel garage door with a contemporary flush panel design in iron ore colour, fitted a LiftMaster belt-drive opener with MyQ smart connectivity, added new weather seals on all four sides, and installed LED lighting in the opener.

Result

The garage temperature improved by 15 degrees in winter. The quiet belt-drive opener and smart phone connectivity were game-changers. The modern design significantly upgraded the home's curb appeal.
