Challenge

The primary challenge involved restoring the EIFS stucco integrity on an older home while ensuring texture consistency across repaired and original areas. Matching the existing stucco texture and color required careful preparation and layering to avoid noticeable patches. Accessing higher sections safely on a sloped landscape also presented a site logistics consideration.

Solution

We meticulously repaired all EIFS damage and filled hairline cracks using a flexible acrylic sealant. A high-build elastomeric coating, specifically Sherwin-Williams Loxon XP, was applied for superior weather resistance and crack bridging. This ensured a durable, uniform finish compliant with local building envelope standards.

Result

The exterior now boasts a refreshed, cohesive appearance with enhanced protection against the elements. The project was completed within 3 days, minimizing disruption and significantly extending the lifespan of the stucco system. This proactive maintenance added an estimated 10-15 years to the facade's durability.
